Common Grackle

Common Grackles are large blackbirds with iridescent feathers and bright yellow eyes. They are bold feeder visitors and often forage both on the ground and at platform feeders. Grackles eat a wide variety of foods including sunflower seeds, grains, and insects.

There's little specific habitat you need to create — grackles find their own way into most backyards.
