Shipping policy

We’re committed to getting your orders to you quickly and reliably so you can keep your feathered friends happy. We currently ship only within Canada. We do not ship internationally at this time.

Free Shipping Threshold

  • Orders of $35 CAD or more (before taxes) qualify for free standard shipping within Canada.
  • Orders under $35 CAD will incur standard shipping fees, which are calculated at checkout based on order weight, size, and destination.

Order Processing and Shipping Times

We process orders Monday through Friday (excluding statutory holidays in Ontario and any courier-observed holidays).

  • Orders placed before 12:00 PM EST → We aim to ship the same business day.
  • Orders placed after 12:00 PM EST → These will ship the next business day.

Important Note on Same-Day Shipping While we prepare orders promptly for same-day dispatch when received before noon, actual pickup and transit depend on our couriers (e.g., UPS, Canpar or others we use). In cases where the courier does not collect shipments on the scheduled day for their own reasons (such as weather, operational delays, or route adjustments), pickup typically occurs the next business day. We appreciate your understanding that these situations are beyond our control.

Estimated Delivery Times

Once shipped, most standard deliveries within Canada arrive in:

  • 1–4 business days for most urban and suburban areas.
  • 5–10 business days for rural, remote, or northern locations (including parts of the territories).

These are estimates only and not guaranteed. Delivery times can be affected by weather, holidays, high-volume periods, customs (for remote areas), or carrier issues.

Shipping Carriers and Tracking

We primarily use trusted carriers such as UPS, or similar services depending on your location, order size, and speed requirements. A tracking number will be emailed to you once your order ships (usually within 24 hours of dispatch). You can track your package directly through the carrier’s website using that number.

Additional Notes

  • Shipping rates and options are displayed at checkout for complete transparency.
  • We are not responsible for delays, lost packages, or delivery issues once the order has been handed to the carrier. However, if your package is lost or damaged in transit, contact us immediately—we’ll work with the carrier to resolve it and may issue a replacement or refund at our discretion.
  • Address changes after an order ships may not be possible and could result in additional fees.
  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel orders to certain remote areas if shipping costs become prohibitive (we’ll notify you in advance).
  • During peak seasons (e.g., holidays or extreme weather periods), processing and delivery times may be longer than usual.
