Official Rules & Terms and Conditions

These Official Rules govern the Chirp & Maple Monthly Giveaway (the “Giveaway”). By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Rules and the decisions of Chirp & Maple, which are final and binding in all matters relating to this Giveaway.

1. Sponsor

The Giveaway is sponsored by Chirp & Maple (the “Sponsor”).

2. Eligibility

The Giveaway is open only to legal residents of Canada who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.

Employees, contractors, officers, and directors of the Sponsor, and members of their immediate families or households, are not eligible to enter or win.

3. Giveaway Period

The Giveaway is a recurring monthly promotion. Each monthly entry period begins at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time on the first day of the month and ends at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time on the last day of the same month (each, a “Giveaway Period”).

4. How to Enter

To enter during a Giveaway Period:

  1. Post a public video on an eligible social media platform (such as Instagram, Facebook, or TikTok) showing birds consuming Chirp & Maple bird food; and

  2. Tag @ChirpAndMaple or #chirpandmaple in the post.

Limit one (1) entry per person per Giveaway Period, regardless of the number of videos posted.

No purchase is required to enter or win.

5. Prize

One (1) winner will be selected during each Giveaway Period.

The prize consists of one (1) 6 kg box of Chirp & Maple bird food, representing a one (1) month supply. Product type may vary based on availability and seasonality.

  • Approximate Retail Value (ARV): Varies.

  • The prize is non-transferable and may not be substituted for cash.

6. Winner Selection and Notification

One (1) potential winner will be selected in a random draw from all eligible entries received during each Giveaway Period, provided that a minimum of five (5) eligible entries are received during that Giveaway Period.

If fewer than five (5) eligible entries are received in a Giveaway Period, the Sponsor reserves the right to not award a prize for that month and to roll all eligible entries forward into the next Giveaway Period.

Selected entrants will be notified via direct message or comment reply from the Sponsor’s official social media account within a reasonable time following the draw.

To be declared a winner, the selected entrant must:

  • Respond to the notification within the timeframe specified by the Sponsor; and

  • Correctly answer a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question, without assistance.

If a selected entrant fails to meet these requirements, an alternate entrant may be selected.

7. Odds

Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received during the applicable Giveaway Period.

8. Use of Content

By entering, participants grant Chirp & Maple a non‑exclusive, royalty‑free, perpetual, worldwide license to use, reproduce, repost, publish, and display submitted content (including videos, usernames, and captions) for marketing and promotional purposes, with credit where reasonable.

9. Platform Disclaimer

This Giveaway is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, or any other social media platform. Participants release all such platforms from any responsibility related to this Giveaway.

10. General Conditions

The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the Giveaway at any time if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond the Sponsor’s reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Giveaway.

The Giveaway is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations. Void where prohibited.
